講座の理念
解剖学研究を通じて、長年培われた知識・技術を継承するとともに、常に新しい知識・技術を探求・開発して、それらを世界に発信することで、医学の発展に貢献する。

講座の使命：
・医学教育の基盤である基礎医学としての肉眼解剖学講義をスタート地点として、学生教育の各段階における臨床解剖学に関する教育、更に卒後教育として各専門分野の エキスパート育成のための臨床解剖学の講義、実習など、医療従事者育成の全ての段階に関わる解剖学教育を行う。
・ヒトおよび動物を対象とした解剖学研究を行い、上述の教育や臨床に必要な情報を提供することを研究目標とする。

Our mission:
Our mission is to contribute to the development of medicine by passing on the knowledge and techniques that have been cultivated over many years through anatomical research, while constantly exploring and developing new knowledge and techniques, and disseminating them to the world.
Our policy:
We provide anatomical education related to all stages of medical professionals training, including lectures on gross anatomy as basic medicine, which is the foundation of medical education, education on clinical anatomy at each stage of medical student education, and lectures and practical training on clinical anatomy for training experts in each specialized field as post-graduate education.

The goal of the research is to conduct anatomical research on human and animal subjects and to provide information necessary for the education and clinical practice described above.

講座の歴史 Department History

久留米大学医学部解剖学講座は、1928年に久留米大学医学部の前進である九州医学専門学校が設立されると同時に開講した久留米大学医学部の中でも最も歴史のある講座の一つである。
初代は、八重津輝勝教授、2代目は垣山六二教授、3代目は柴田至教授、4代目は竹重順夫教授、5代目は宮崎道雄教授、6代目は吉塚光明教授、7代目は山木宏一教授が歴任している。 そして、2020年4月からは8代目の渡部功一教授が就任して現在に至っている。
解剖学講座は、講座開講時は単一の講座であったが、1946年に解剖学第1講座と解剖学第2講座の2講座制となった。その後、2005年4月に再び解剖学講座として1つの講座に統合することとなり、 解剖学第1講座は肉眼・臨床解剖部門、解剖学第2講座は顕微解剖・生体形成部門となった。

The Department of Anatomy is one of the oldest departments in Kurume University School of Medicine, having opened in 1928 at the same time as the Kyushu Medical College, the advance of Kurume University School of Medicine, was established.
In so far as can be determined from the records available in its history of over ninety years, there have been the following chairmen:
1st 1928-1934 Dr. Terukatsu Yaezu
2nd 1935-1941 Dr. Rokuji Kakiyama
3rd 1941-1948 Dr. Itaru Sibata
4th 1949-1980 Dr. Yoshio Takeshige
5th 1980-1993 Dr. Michio Miyazaki
6th 1993-2003 Dr. Mitsuaki Yoshizuka
7th 2004-2020 Dr. Koh-ichi Yamaki
8th 2020-now Dr. Koichi Watanabe

The Department of Anatomy was a single department when it was first established, but in 1946, it was reorganized into two departments: the first and the second Departments of Anatomy. In 2005, it was decided to merge the two departments into a single department again, with the first department being the division of gross and clinical anatomy and the second department being the division of microscopic and developmental anatomy.
